Active since a young age, Silventar has played with many aspects of BDSM skill-sets. Rope being one of his favorites, he has lectured on safety and technique for both traditional rope bondage and suspensions. Although heavily influenced by various Japanese rope techniques, Silventar does not practice any particular tradition of rope bondage. Instead, he focuses on the functionality and the beauty of rope on the human form and expresses his creativity rather than be confined by a particular style. 

Silventar has been a semi-professional photographer for several years. His specialty is people photography of all types, particularly rope bondage, fetish, portraiture, and event coverage. Additionally, Silventar is working towards a PhD in Psychology, where he plans to practice therapy and further the depth of research in D/s and M/s dynamics.
